The story to this game is you playing as part of Umbrella Corp.

If you want the true survival horror, Resident Evil 6 might be more suited toward you. The developer/writer is the same one who made Resident Evil 4.

yes you are right, RE6 is a continuation from RE4 not RE5. RE 6 is to be released in November of this year
