I think anyone who is a G.A.P member gets one, its just a survey, which they review and if your lucky, given a key to participate in the beta. However, like every other game, the beta is full of so many bugs and server crashes, its almost impossible to enjoy. And worst of all because of the NDA you can't share your experience.

The only beta I have ever been in was the SOCOM beta, and they made it so easy any asshole could be on it. I just wish I could get into this shit.

Do you keep your profile updated on Playstation.com...from what I heard a long time ago..that helps in deciding who they choose sometimes...and i think it keeps a record on what betas you have been invited too

So far nothing but Errors..damn I can't even get on yet...there is a huge update that a lot of ppl are dealing with....I think the servers are overloaded...oh well :cry: I guess I have to try again tomorrow..

Yeah, experiencing the same thing, you have to keep plugging away though, apparently when the error message is up, it's still downloading so leave it on for a while and then restart. Some guys are saying on the forums that when they do this, the game automatically starts to install and then begins the game. I'm currently at 46% downloaded.?/

For those not lucky enough to get in the closed beta for MAG, you can still get in the open Beta starting Sept. 17th, just subscribe to Qore, just like what you had to do for Confrontation.

in short...GARBAGE...their is really nothing special about this FPS...they say its 256 players in 1 room..but the way the game plays you are in a squad and you have a certain part of the map to hold down or take over...so u only see a select about of ppl...

Nope...there are essentially 3 battles going on at the same time and all those battle are a part of a huge battle...so whatever platoon you are in is where you stay...the other 2 battles are sooooo far off you can't see them...hear it....or even talk to the other players...u can just talk to your squad of I think 20 or 30 or so...shit if that much....LOL I need to count them the next time I get a wild hair up my ass to play it

yeah but i thought the maps where like 1 sq mile or somthing in full size and if tempted too you could just leave your area and hike for 30 mins to another area of the map or take a plan ect?????

LOL..nope there will be NO wondering off....LOL...u stay with your platoon....just put up a update to fix some of the crazy shit that has been going on..but I am gonna say this...I dont foresee this game being anything special...

in the bigger spectrum 256 players sounds sweet...but you only get to see a fraction of those players to begin with...after u take that away...u have a normal FPS...just like most FPS your gun is garbage when u 1st get it, but u get skillpoints to upgrade them...everything else nothing more than an FPS..to be honest I will not be getting MAG

Game play vids i seen didnt make it look like id miss anything by playing MW2 exclusivly. Very excited about cod co op single player on cod is awesum

I enjoy the game myself...right now it is down due to them sending out the open beta invites on the 17th.... i will have an extra code come the 17th..... but I dont know I loved the game at first, but amkind of getting tired of the respawn stuff...and its not as tactical as alot of people thought it would be... the clansupport they promised looks weak to me...guess we will see but with MW2 coming out, i dont know if mag will live up to it....zipper needs to make socom4 and get rid of mag IMO.
