Medal Ideas

Im bored but I just thought it would be cool to recieve a medal for like 1k kills in clan wars alone and then 5k and then 10k catch my drift?

LOL that is a lot of kills. BUt we like to base most our medals on single war performance rather then long term.

I actually like the idea. Red, start something in the Officers tent and lets see if we can come up with anything.

You could even make medals such as the "Team Player" which would be for like 5 plus assists in a game. Even something like "Demolisher" or "Total Control" for bomb plants and control points. The list could get pretty long.

You could also give out a medal for somebody recruiting a friend or a random person.

But seriously I'm all for more medals, I think they add to the game and give people extra things to strive for. As for new ones thats tough. Maybe one for "no team kills throughout 5 wars" but that could be tough to keep up with lol.

if you do that, you'd gotta start recording team kill stats after each war in the war room

I personally like the assists medal idea by PJ I think it was, and some for planting/defusing bombs, capturing so many control points in a war. Also could do something like a "clutch" medal for round winning plays

theres already a couple medals that could be considered clutch medals. But ther others sounds good. 5+ Assists in a war, 2 plants or defuses in a war. The only downfall is people might play to achieve a medal rather then to win the war. I like having long term medals such as win 50+ Wars etc.

The medals DO promote individual performance and there have been wars where I know people were more concerned with their medals rather then the war. But overall people earn their medals in winning efforts. I would say 90-95% of our medals are earned in winning matches.
