The story how Nelson Mandela as the newly elected President of South Africa used the national rugby team during the world cup to unite his country and stave off a civil war.

Clint Eastwood directed and produced the film, the main reason I went to see it.

It was OK, but not a good movie by Clint Eastwood standards (Unforgiven, Gran Torino, Million Dollar Baby).

The glaring thing that was missing, humor. Nothing funny going on in this movie. Knowing what I do now, I wish I waited for it come out on DVD.

Yes have to agree with you, this was a dvd or even cable movie but not theatre unless you literally had nothing to do.
